Naya Kanga (5,844 m) located to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular peak to climb in Nepal. The normal route to Naya Kanga peak is via the snowy north-east ridge. Naya Kanga trekking peak climbing can be accomplished in Langtang valley. You will have chance to observe from summit of Naya Kanga Peak of Lantang Lirung (7,246m), Lenpo Gang (7,083m), Dorje Lakpa (6,990m) and Shishapangma (8,027m) in Tibetan side as it adds reward to your dream of peak climbing.
The Langtang valley is surrounded by high peaks of great appeal with Naya Kanga Peak. Langtang Valley has become famous ever since the British mountaineer Bill Tilman described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. The highest peak in Langtang area is Shisapangma or Gosaithan 8,027m in Tibetan side. The whole langtang valley is covered with flowers during the summer. Langtang area, high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to Tibetan.
Ascending to Ganja La and the summit of Naya Kanga offer the spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,310m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,581m). The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga is via the north - East Ridge over a line on ice and snow. We follow the route of Langtang trek to Kyangjin (3,900m) for the ascent of Naya Kanga. To the north above Kangjin, there are several hills that provide both the magnificent views and acclimatization. Northeast of Kyangjin Ri (4,773m), there is a peak called Tserko Ri Peak (5,001m) that provides good climbing for acclimatization.
