Annapurna Round Trekking Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.

    Open arrival in Kathmandu airport then Green Valley Nepal Treks airport represent will well come you at airport and transfer to your Hotel in Thamel. After having introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Sight-seeing: 3-4 hours.

    After breakfast, you are being prepared for joining a guided tour of the amazing sightseeing of the Kathmandu Valley. You can visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath 'Monkey' Temple, the famous Hindu temple - Pashupatinath and the largest Stupa in Nepal - Boudhanath onwards at afternoon we gather for a pre trek briefing and introduction to your trek leader & make arrangements for your 'trek pack'.

  • Day 3 Kathmandu to Beshisahar.

    Early morning start to make the bus drive around 6 hours to Besisahar (850m), the starting point of the Annapurna round trek. Your adventure begins! Passing through many small villages on the way will fascinate you with snippets of every day living in these lowland villages. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 4 Beshisahar to Bahundanda.

    Your first day's trek involves crossing a few suspension bridges, waterfalls, several up and down hill sections, across rice fields and subtropical forest. You eventually ascend to Bahundanda (Hills of Brahmans) for the night, a village set on a long ridge at 1310m . Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 5 Bahundanda to Chamje.

    Trek through amphitheatre-shaped rice terraces, along a steep vertical cliff, lush forests, and some culturally intriguing villages. Spend the night at Chamje at 1,430m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 6 Chamje to Bagarchhap.

    Today you enter the Manang district after passing fields of corn, barley and potatoes and then through forests of bamboo and Rhododendrons. Dharapani (1,950m) is where you spend the night at 2,160m, the first of many villages you will encounter with typical Tibetan architecture. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 7 Bagarchhap to Chame.

    Today you will negotiate a few steep forested ridges, along with several landslides on route, remember to look up though, as you will receive some sensational views of major Himalayan peaks. Your target for the night is Chame at 2,630m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 8 Chame to Pisang.

    A narrow steep path through a very dense forest will bring you to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1,500m from the river. As the trail opens up you will be surround by Himalayan Peaks all the way to Upper Pisang, at 3,700m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 9 Pisang to Manang.

    Enter the upper Manang region, where the rainfall is much lower. You will notice much contrast with the landscape and vegetation; the cold arid climate creates a much harsher environment. This area is a fascinating mix of barren cliffs and exotic rock formations in contrast to the snow covered Himalayan peaks. You have entered another world; Manang Village is set at 3,500m.   • Day 10 Rest day in Manang.

    This is necessary for acclimatization. The village itself is fascinating; there are also some spectacular side trips not far away. The glacial lake below the icefall is mandatory. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 11 Manang to Latdar.

    Start the 2,000m ascents up to the Throng La Pass. Today is a short walk up to Yak Kharka, a small settlement set at 4,090m. Gradual ascent is the key to avoiding altitude problems. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 12 Latdar to Throng Phedi or high Camp.

    Make your way to the foot of the pass, Throng Phedi (4,600). A small although busy settlement catering to the needs of a multitude of trekkers and climbers that use this point as a base camp. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 13 Throng Phedi or High Cam to Muktinath.

    Across Throng La pass 5,416m. An early start is important in order to cope with the long day over the pass. Challenging, however very rewarding. Crossing this infamous pass will take you into a world beyond reality. It is truly one of life's magical moments! Descend to Muktinath at 3,800m. This is one of the famous pilgrimages place in Nepal. You'll see good combination between two different religions. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 14 Muknath to Kagbeni.

    The country today is quite surreal as you trek along a plateau above the Kali Gandaki, the world's deepest gorge. Similar to Tibet the landscape is wild and barren, at times you will feel completely isolated, it is almost Erie, giving you an out of this world experience. Descend further to a more comfortable elevation and temperature; it is extraordinary how the landscape changes in days walk. Spend the night at Kagbeni . Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 15 Kagbeni to Marpha.

    Follow the bank of the holy river spend the o/n Marpha (2,670m). Enjoy with the view of Dhaulagiri Glacier, Nilgiri and Tibetan land, culture and renowned for an assortment of apple delicacies. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 16 Marpha to Ghasa.

    5/6 hours hiking through by the Kali Gandaki valley and O/N Ghasa (2,530m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 17 Ghasa to Tatopani.

    Emerge back into subtropical forests, lush with vegetation. Villages today are more frequent enjoy observing the everyday lives of the local village people. Pass through by the deepest gorge. Stay the night at Tatopani (1,200m) and relax in the hot springs. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 18 Tatopani to Ghorepani.

    A steep climbing and genteelly up to Ghorepani (2,850m) today. You will stay here the night in order to make the climb up Poon Hill early in the morning. From this point you receive spectacular unobstructed views of the Himalayan. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

  • Day 19 Ghorepani to Pokhara.

    After the walk up Poon Hill continue the trek down to Birethanti and a short walk to complete the trail, you will be received and transported to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city is a haven unique setting of tropical climate and plants with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.

  • Day 20 Full day sight seeing around Pokhara.O/N Guest house-B.B.
  • Day 21 Early morning by tourist bus to Kathmandu and transfer to your Hotel O/N -B.B.
  • Day 22 Departure or onward for next trip.
