Gangtey Trek – Bhutan Gangtey Trek – Bhutan Gangtey Tour
This Gangtey Bhutan Trek 4 days moderate trekking starts from Gangtey at Phobjikha, a wide green lush valley which is also a winter residence of rare and endangered black necked cranes that migrate from Tibet to Bhutan in late autumn. The trail passes through mixed forest of juniper, magnolia, and rhododendron to the remote hamlets and farmland of Gogona and Khotokha.
Season: From March to May and September to November, but best season is in April when rhododendrons are in full bloom.

Duration: 06 Nights/07 Days (Trek - 4 days)
Gangtey Trekking Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Paro and transfer to Thimphu. Upon the arrival, check into hotel for the overnight halt.
Day 02: Drive to Gangtey, Phobjikha (about 3-4 hrs drive). Overnight camping at Gangtey.
Day 03: Starts trek from Gangte to Gogona (about 6-7 hrs trek). Overnight camping at Gogona.
Day 04: Gogona to Khothangka (about 6-7 hrs trek). Overnight camping at Khothangka.
Day 05: Khothangka to Tikke Zampa (about 5 hrs trek). Trek ends and transfer to Wangdue. On arrival, check into hotel for overnight halt.
Day 06: Drive to Paro (about 3-4 hrs drive). On arrival, check into hotel. Afternoon, visit Ta Dzong and Paro Dzong.
Day 07: Transfer to airport for your next destination.
